Portfolio > Pinhole Photographs

Using a pinhole instead of a lens gives results that suit my inner vision of the world as a mysterious, surprising, and often ambiguous place. Scale, distance, and motion are distorted in unpredictable ways that seem in tune with my experience of both natural and man-made realms. Because I relinquish some control over the image by using a pinhole, the results often are unanticipated but perhaps more expressive than I had envisioned. Thus chance and serendipity play an important part in producing these images.
